Platform fee agreement
Last updated 2026-10-01
This is the agreement you accept when you create a MyTradingSite account. In one sentence: using MyTradingSite is free, and in return you agree that the platform receives 5% of the Deriv markup commission your site(s) earn.
1. What the fee is
The platform fee is 5% of the gross Deriv markup commission earned by each site you create on MyTradingSite ("Commission"). There is no setup fee, subscription or minimum. If a site earns no Commission, no fee is due.
2. How Commission is measured
Commission is the app markup amount reported by Deriv for your site's Deriv app, retrieved daily from Deriv's official markup statistics API. We record it per site, per day, together with the fee rate in force for your account. If Deriv later corrects a figure within our sync window, the record is updated to match Deriv.
3. How you are paid
- Every site uses a Deriv app registered under the platform's Deriv developer account, so Deriv pays the Commission to the platform.
- Your dashboard shows Gross Commission, the 5% platform fee and your 95% share. The fee is deducted automatically; you are never invoiced.
- Your share becomes available to withdraw 7 days after the day it was earned (the hold period). Newer earnings show as pending.
- Withdrawals are requests reviewed by our team and paid to the method you choose (M-Pesa, USDT TRC20 or a Deriv account). If a request is rejected, the amount returns to your available balance.
- We pay your share out of Commission actually received from Deriv. If Deriv withholds, reverses or does not pay Commission, the corresponding share may be adjusted.
4. Changes
We will not increase the fee on Commission you have already earned. If we ever change the fee rate, we will email you at least 30 days in advance and you may stop using the platform before the change applies.
5. Record of acceptance
When you tick the agreement box at signup we store the time, your IP address, your browser user-agent and the version of this agreement (2026-10-01).
